He's a broken Alpha who's lost everything. She's a human with no idea she's his fated mate-or that she's the last Luna wolf alive. When Kira's car breaks down in a blizzard, she stumbles onto the doorstep of a remote mountain lodge-and into the arms of Cade Thornwood, the brooding Alpha of Shadowpine Pack. One look, one scent, and his wolf knows: MINE. There's just one problem. Kira's human. Or so she thinks. Cade's entire pack was slaughtered five years ago by a ruthless enemy who's still hunting him. The last thing he needs is a fated mate-especially one who makes him feel things he swore he'd never risk again. Everyone he's ever loved has died. She's safer if he pushes her away. But his wolf has other plans. As Kira's dormant Luna powers awaken, she discovers she's not just a werewolf-she's ancient royalty, capable of uniting warring packs and healing bonds thought broken forever. Which makes her the most valuable prize in the supernatural world... and the ultimate target. When enemies close in, demanding she surrender or watch everyone she loves die, Kira must choose: Run and save herself, or stand and fight for the impossible love that's already claimed her heart. Because Cade isn't the only one who's possessive. And this Luna? She protects what's hers.
