After his long-term boyfriend leaves without a trace, Theo is heartbroken and utterly alone. Hoping to fill the silence, he adopts a sweet puppy who he calls Honey. She's loyal, loving, and the only good thing in his life. Until she runs away, too. Just as Theo is learning to live with the emptiness, someone from his past crashes into him and turns his whole life around. The culprit? Honey. And, she isn't alone. Her new owner is tall, handsome, and exactly Theo's type - and he has no idea the dog in his arms already belongs to someone else. Theo is instantly drawn to him. He sees a lot of his younger self in Finn and they grow close, bonding over Finn's discovery and acceptance of his asexuality, and they work together to figure out what being ace means for each of them. It's a journey of self-discovery, reflection, education, and open communication. As Theo opens himself up again - to love, to trust, to second chances - he starts to believe that maybe you dont just lose things forever. Sometimes, they find their way home.
