Kayn Butcher - It's been over four hundred years, and all it took was the mention of his name to bring every piece of our history rushing back. Lucifer, that godsdamn Incubus, is with his father in the Beyond. I didn't chase after him the first time but I won't make that mistake again. However, it'll take more than a road trip across Everhaven to reach him. It seems I'll need a Witch powerful enough to open the gates to the Beyond. And, of course, the only one capable of it is locked away for a crime even I can't forgive. I'll do anything to get him back. If crossing realms won't stop me, then no slayer will.  Amarah Holloway - They should have killed me seven years ago. But because they didn't, everyone in that town died and I've been rotting in this prison ever since. Locked away like the monster they decided I was. Then that brute of a Vampire showed up. He thinks he did me a favor, but all he really did was expose me to something far worse. Something even he can't protect me from.  Lucifer - Don't come for me, Kayn. Don't make me lose you twice.
